Brain Break

We love to take brain breaks during the day.  GoNoodle is an excellent website for brain breaks and the students love it. In the video below the students are watching the GoNoodle video "Weird Sounds." 

 

Classifying Properties of Matter

This week students began investigating matter. They love going outdoor for science. In the pictures below the students created a Thinking Map called a Tree Map to classify properties of matter.

Picture Day will be Friday, August 21. Students may wear dress up attire for the entire day (School uniforms are not required to be worn). Additionally, Lifetouch will not send proofs. We had a great first week! It was a pleasure getting to know all of my new students. We had a lot of fun getting to know one another. This week students will SLO test in reading and math.
