What's The Matter? - Science Booklet

The students have been working on a science project titled, “What’s The Matter.”  In this project we have been using thinking maps as tools. Two of the maps we are using are called the Circle Map and the Bubble Map.  This project will show their understanding of solids, liquids, and gases.

Sentence Types

The past few weeks we have been focusing on sentence types. This week the students became interviewers and interviewees. Each student wrote a series of interview questions about what they would want to know about their classmate. Then the students worked with a partner and wrote telling sentences to go along with their questioning sentences.
